Meeting of the presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan

 

The presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan held a trilateral meeting in Astana.

Vladimir Putin, Alexander Lukashenko and Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed trade and economic cooperation between the three countries, developing the Eurasian integration process in the context of current global economic trends and their impact, and the situation in Ukraine.

The three presidents made press statements following their talks.

Later, Mr Putin, Mr Lukashenko and Mr Nazarbayev visited the First President of Kazakhstan Library. The three leaders toured the library’s exhibitions and spoke with school and university students. The First President of Kazakhstan Library opened on March 13, 2014 and houses more than 40,000 publications and 700 exhibits from Mr Nazarbayev’s personal collection.
